Daryl is our co-founder and head barber. Fuelled by a desire to be creative, Daryl applied for an apprenticeship at a local salon at the age of 17. After developing and honing his craft on both men and women’s hair, he decided to focus his efforts on barbering – a skill that he found he was stronger in. Over the next few years he continued to perfect and master his skills.

In 2012, Daryl partnered with co-founder Shane to open Prestige. In the first few months, the pair were able to grow the shop from one member of staff to five, placing emphasis on a great cut with high quality customer service. Since then, with the help of Daryl, the shop has gone on to become one of the busiest and best in Lancaster with over 14 staff.

Daryl now has over 15 years experience and his passion for barbering is unwavering. He’s excited to see what opportunities lie ahead for the business.
